When things are going badly, giving up looks very good. There's a false sense of security that comes with a contemplative relief, in thinking about being free of a dream or goal that is important to you, because it has become too difficult to achieve. But how can that be the answer, when it is something you have worked hard for. Throughout history, if everyone had given up when things got hard, think of all the positive breakthroughs and inventions humanity would not have known that we enjoy today (medical vaccines, the car, the telephone, television, the internet ect.). Many great people in world history have faced challenging times. However, they faced it by rising to the occasion, not giving up and allowing circumstances to overwhelm them. Just remember, with God anything is possible.
