Female Reality Shows And Catfighting

Real Housewives Of Atlanta

It seems as though most female reality shows feature constant cat fighting as a staple in programming. "The Real Housewives Of Atlanta" "Basketball Wives" "Basketball Wives" and "Love And Hip-Hop." "The Real Housewives Of Atlanta" started this trend and others followed suit, leading to brawl after brawl in the name of ratings.

Love And Hip Hop

However, is it a good message to send the public, in the name of money. Why the constant bickering and physical fighting. Is this the best representation of women. Obviously no, but with each new show in the genre, they up the ante and it is becoming too much.

Why Did Evelyn Lozada Run From Joining The Show "Dancing With The Stars"

Evelyn Lozada

"Basketball Wives" star, Evelyn Lozada, was reportedly in the running to appear on the current season of the television show "Dancing With The Stars." However, for some reason, she did not appear. The Spanish people I know in Miami can dance, so why did Lozada not accept the challenge. Does she have two left feet. Regarding past seasons of the show, is Lozada the Master P and Kim Kardashian of the Hispanic community on the dance floor (LOL).

Has Basketball Wives Stolen The Real Housewives Of Atlanta's Crown

In Some Ways Yes, In Other Ways No

The Real Housewives Of Atlanta

Has the reality show Basketball Wives set in Miami, stolen the crown of the Atlanta show the Real Housewives Of Atlanta. Basketball Wives is the newer show and has become more popular than the latter on blogs and in the pop culture news stream, but the Real Housewives Of Atlanta still has higher ratings.

Basketball Wives

The alleged departure of Evelyn Lozada could throw a monkey wrench in ratings that have consistently climbed throughout the three seasons of the show. With her leaving, will the show be able to catch up in the ratings against their fellow southern belles.

Will "Basketball Wives" Ratings Suffer Without Evelyn Lozada

Evelyn Lozada

Will the ratings for the VH-1 reality show "Basketball Wives" suffer without its star, Evelyn Lozada, who reportedly quit the show after the network re-posted a rumor about her cheating on fiancé football player Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson.

"Basketball Wives LA"

The spin off of the show "Basketball Wives LA" is not doing very well. Producer Shaunie O’Neal expected another hit and one would think that would be the case as Los Angeles is filled with pretty women, no not like the movie, who have or had relationships with NBA athletes.

Shaunie O'Neal

The Judiciary Report is of the belief, O’Neal picked the wrong people for the program, hence the lower ratings than the original reality show. Then again, a lot of women affiliated with NBA athletes do not want to upset their mates by joining the scandalous show.

Basketball Wives Star Evelyn Lozada Suing Over Damaging Blog Rumor She Slept With Fiancé's Teammate

Evelyn Lozada

"Basketball Wives" reality star, Evelyn Lozada, is suing mad over online claims she cheated on fiancé, football player, Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson, with his former Cincinnati Bengals teammate, Terrell Owens. So much so, she has filed a libel and defamation lawsuit in court against the originator of the online rumor, the frequently read website, Media Take Out, which was spooled into other blogs. Lozada filed suit in Miami, stating Media Take Out's claims about her are false.

Johnson now plays for the New England Patriots and Lozada has accompanied him to Boston. Media Take Out should not be surprised that Lozada is angry. After all, she told off her own best friend on television, Jennifer Williams, over being unsupportive on a radio show, over her relationship with Johnson, so what did you think she would do over a blogger she doesn't know.

Evelyn Lozada and Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson

Lozada is not playing when it comes to milk dud (translation: milk dud is slang for a bald black man, named after the delicious chocolate candy of the same name). Ironically, I don't think their relationship will last, for different reasons, but that's their business.

This is why you have to make sure you can back up claims on your blogs and websites or it can lead to legal trouble. I do not publish anything online unless I know I can back it up. This has led to a solid, reliable and bountiful exclusives page. I know for a fact Media Take Out has printed stories it did not fact check. I've seen items on their website I knew to be untrue based on what I personally know, saw or was told.

Evelyn Lozada

One of their biggest blunders came courtesy of an obsessed fan of rapper Jay-Z (girl, you must have a thing for camels) who sent in a story to them, which she later admitted on the Dr. Phil television show, was packed with lies, but they printed it as truth.

Publicists also routinely send them items to print and Media Take Out does not verify where the information came from, publishing claims that have been derived from criminal wiretapping, hacking and phone hacking, which is a serious set of felonies. You have to know what you are publishing or the legal consequences can get quite high.

Shaunie O’Neal Gives The Impression She Is Clueless About Evelyn Lozada’s Announced Departure From Basketball Wives

"Basketball Wives" producer, Shaunie O’Neal, made an appearance on the Wendy Williams Show and seemed to be denying all responsibility for the content of the contentious, sexually charged show, by stating she has simply brought women of different types together (also known as a pimp). That's like saying you brought several tigers together, let them loose, but you are somehow not responsible for the damage that ensued. Give it up, Shaunie Springer. This is your fault.

On another note, O'Neal denies all knowledge of costar, Evelyn Lozada, leaving "Basketball Wives." O'Neal said Lozada told her no such thing (uh, but she told everybody else on Twitter - check your timeline). It gives the impression that Lozada's announcement was another publicity stunt for ratings to see if she will come back and more money, via another salary increase. She received a raise last time she threw the same tantrum. Either way, she is the star of the show.

Evelyn Lozada

I'll give the women on the show credit, they are all naturally pretty and that's something money can't buy, because Hollywood has some freak shows of bad plastic surgery, bad hairdos, bad make-up and bad clothes running around. These women have their look together. While it is refreshing to see women on television, whose faces are not jacked from bad plastic surgery, there is too much fighting and cussing on "Basketball Wives." Some may like it, but some do not.

Evelyn Lozada Questions Boston's Flavor

Doesn't Seem To Think It's "Fun" Either

Evelyn Lozada

"Basketball Wives" star, Evelyn Lozada, has made the move from Miami to Massachusetts, to support fiancé, football player, Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson, joining the NFL's New England Patriots. Upon her arrival to the city of Boston, Massachusetts, Lozada stated, "We’re hoping to bring some flavor and fun to Boston." So what are you trying to say Evelyn? That Boston has no "flavor" and is not "fun." You guys read what she said - get her! Pull her extensions out. I'm just kidding.

Evelyn Lozada Mad At Bloggers Over What She Calls Lies

When Bloggers Attack…Or Is It When Reality Stars Attack

Chad Ochocinco and Evelyn Lozada

"Basketball Wives" reality TV star, Evelyn Lozada, is mad at the blogosphere (what did we do to her?). Lozada is upset at blogs for allegedly publishing items, stating she is pregnant and her engagement to NFL footballer, Chad Ochocinco Johnson, has been called off, due to her cheating with his former teammate, Terrell Owens.

Terrell Owens and Evelyn Lozada

Lozada took to Twitter again to slam bloggers for making up said stories about her personal life. She stated she is not pregnant at this time and still very much with Johnson. The question is how long will he be with her, if she continues to be so controlling. Why won't she let milk dud breathe - he is a grown man.

Antoine Walker and Evelyn Lozada

Side Bar: First it was the NBA's Antoine Walker, then she switched leagues to the NFL's Chad Ochocino and allegedly Terrell Owens. I'm going to take a wild guess here and state, Lozada has a thing for bald black brothers. No wonder they think something happened with Owens, but she seems pretty adamant nothing occurred.

Hmm I Wonder If That Onscreen Beatdown Had Anything To Do With It

Meeka Claxton

Meeka Claxton, wife of former NBA basketball player, Speedy Claxton, has left the reality show "Basketball Wives" after being attacked on the program. Claxton had joined the third series of the VH-1 brawlfest of a show this summer.

Tami Roman

What’s wrong boo boo. Don’t like getting hit in your head by welterweight champion Tami Roman. Don’t like getting your extensions snatched out and your skin scratched up in the tussle, with a side order of contusions and possible concussion. People need head gear and a plate of armor going on that show.

Basketball Wives

Claxton has sued Roman in court, over the televised assault in Italy, which aired on the show in August. The fight was not pretty and neither is the lawsuit.

At Least, So She Says

Chad Ochocinco and Evelyn Lozada

The star of VH-1's "Basketball Wives" Bronx native turned Miami resident, Evelyn Lozada, is leaving the show in a huff. Lozada is enraged that the network posted a blog containing a rumor that she cheated on her fiancé, NFL football player, Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson, with another athlete from the league, Terrell Owens.

Terrell Owens and Evelyn Lozada

Lozada has threatened to leave the "Basketball Wives" before, but went back for a salary increase. Apparently, she is above that now and is adamant she will not come back, as she deemed the rumor a lie. Lozada gets pretty touchy when it comes to Johnson.
